In 1987 B&B started with mostly commercial and institutional buildings like schools, hotels, restaurants, and stores. During those early years we got our first opportunities with industrial design/build construction as we took the electrical design lead on several new manufacturing facilities in our region. We also began working in healthcare and nursing home facilities at that time and have completed numerous successful projects in those arenas as well.
With the early focus on industrial facilities, we began government work and have successfully completed many projects at the local, state and federal government levels. We began successfully utilizing our design/build acumen with the Army Corps of Engineers many years ago, and our HUBZone certification and SWaM certification provide additional value with government entities.
With our foundation of industrial electrical experience that began in the late 1980’s our founders strategically focused in the 1990’s on growing our services in automation and controls with a goal to become a preferred industrial electrical contractor in the region.
